Each sandwich your group creates must have the name (abbreviation) on it and group members names on it as well. Make sure all the labels and measurements are inside the border so that when you cut out your sandwich, all the necessary information will still be seen. Good luck and bon appetite.

**Be sure to put all labels and measurements INSIDE each triangle** **Your name(s) can go on the back of the triangle** Here are the six specially shaped (triangular) sandwiches that you must prepare. Measurements must be ACCURATE! Measurements for sides and angles must be marked on the triangles!

#1 The SSS Make D ABC with: AB = 6 in. BC = 5 in. AC = 4 in. #2 The AAA Make D DEF with: m R D = 60o m R E = 80o m R F = 40o #3 The SAS Make D GHI with: GH = 8 in. m R G =55o GI = 6 in.

Here are some hints for making a few of the sandwiches..

For Sandwich # 1 (the SSS), draw the longest side first. Then, use a compass to measure (and swing) a 5 in. arc (from B) and then measure (and swing) a 4 in. arc (from A). Make a point where the arcs cross each other. We practiced this in class. For Sandwich # 4 (the SSA), you could draw S K first Make long rays for the sides of the angle. Next, mark off segment JK . Finally, use a compass set at 5 inches to locate segment JL . Swing the arc from point J.
