lamps provide a source coior that approaches that of incandescent lamps. This Westinghouse achievement of-

fers the lighting designer and end user the long-desired vapor lamps that will provide a warm atmosphere similar to that of incandescent lighting. lt also allows the mixing of incandescent lamps with properly ballasted Style-Tone lamps in neighboring fixtures with little difference in source color appearance.

This unique achievement is the result of the continuing Westinghouse efforts in the development of new phosphors and phosphor blends for high intensity discharge lamps. Since only the phosphor is changed, Style-Tone lamps may be substituted

directly

where fixture distribution permits, simply by changino bulbs. They provide a warm, pleasing color with long life and high efficiency.

restaurants, indoor shopping malls and lobbies, and in exterior floodlighting and street lighting where a warm atmosphere is desired.
