Yes Jim Morris, Adele, Ed Sheeran and Bon Ivor

2. What do you expect to see in a singer/songwriter music video?

Live performance and a link between the narrative and the lyrics

3. What do you expect the narrative to be about?

Love, relationships and feelings

4. We explained our ideas and asked their opinion?

Liked the idea of natural country side related scenes, performance shots and all said Hannah (the girl we are using) fits the genre perfectly

5. What could we add to make it different?

Something artificial that isnt supposed to be there, something to stand out from the other shots

Close up, wide shots, location, artist, performance

Other information
Older artists expect to see performance shots but in this day and age its all changed Expect to see a band Something to catch the audiences eye in music videos Dont want to take it away from the song Artist walking about

Here are the questions we asked and the answers we got from our focus group of which we have analysed and have given us a real insight into what the actual audience thinks about singer/songwriter music and videos. The fact that they all listen to singer/songwriter music videos helps as they know what they like and dislike of which they say.

The results also link in with Goodwins theory suggesting that his theory is in fact correct as they said they like to see a link between the narrative and the lyrics which is something we are defiantly going to do as this is going to ensure that we have a clear relation and link within our music video.
