Nov. 13, 2012 First annual Central Valley gospel awards show to air on Bounce-NorCal TV and AMPTV during Black History Month
Upcoming November gospel awards show will honor 17 musical icons from throughout the Central Valley

Fresno, CA The First annual Central Valley gospel awards show, The Lifetime Achievement Awards in Gospel Music, takes place live, Saturday, Nov. 17 at 6 PM, at the First Presbyterian Church in Fresno, CA, and will air locally throughout February on Bounce NorCal TV channels 4.2 in Fresno, CA; 34.2 in Bakersfield, CA and 49.2 in Sacramento, CA. AMPTV will also simulcast on its AMPTVNOW mobile TV app and www.amptvnow.com internet channel. Hosted by Christopher St. James and The Greater Valley Chapter Singers of the Edwin Hawkins Music & Arts Love Fellowship, the gospel awards show will feature stunning Central Valley vocalist Amy Berna, American Idol finalist Jacob Lusk, renowned gospel singer Alfreda a.k.a. FredaLyonsCampbell and innovative gospel ensemble Christopher St. James and The Greater Valley Chapter Singers who will pay tribute to these 17 awardees through memorable musical performances. The event also includes AMPTVs nationally and internationally acclaimed show-host Ken McCoy as the masters of ceremony and 5 oclock red-carpet event host. The musical pioneers being presented have been not only dedicated to their churches through musical service, but they have also served their general communities through various ministries, local charities, and youth organizations. Organizer and founder Christopher St. James saw this first annual recognition event as long overdue. Many of these talented individuals being recognized are very modest but well-known, said St. James. It is time we honor them and present them to our Central Valley community for all the musical service and other ministries they have done for so many people, beyond their church homes.
