Audience: The video is being recorded and produced for teachers Pre-K-12 that has access to Promethean Board Technologies and need assistance with hooking up the board to a teacher work station at the beginning and end of the school year. The video is best suited for visual, auditory and musical learners. Motivation: Attention: The video will catch the learners attention by playing music and rapping the instructions, instead of talking, while connecting the Promethean Board to a teacher work station. Relevance: We are living in a technologically advanced society in which most teachers, parents, and students are required to obtain the knowledge to operate technology every day. Promethean Boards are used on a daily basis because they take the place of dry erase board and chalk boards. Confidence: The instructor will demonstrate how simple it is to set up interactive board during preplanning and post planning, as well as basic troubleshooting strategies if they board is not working properly. Satisfaction: After viewing the video, the learner will be encouraged to remember the rap song to assist them in the future. Learning Objectives: Identify the components of the Promethean Board.
