Confirmation of the Minutes of the Previous Meeting The minutes of the meeting help on 20th September 2010 were approved by the Board and signed by the Chairperson. 6.02 Dual Degree Programme The requirements for starting dual degree were discussed. Duration for the dual degree, common courses for the degrees, advantages and job market were discussed and finally everyone accepted to start this programme. 6.3 Introduction of Communication Skills Course All members discussed the importance of communication skills course. It was decided that Group Discussion, Oral Presentation, Negotiation Skills and Writing Reports are the most important aspects of the course. 6.04 Spelling Bee Contest In English language there is not much correlation between spellings and pronunciation of words. Hence it was decided to conduct Spelling Bee Contest once in three months so that the students feel confident about their spellings and pronunciation of English sounds. 6.05 Any other matter with the Chairpersons permission There were no other issues, the secretary was directed to call the next meeting of the Board of Directors on 20th December 2010.
