Spanish Responses - Rizal was recalled back to the Philippines.

- Prisoners taken in the Battle of Pinaglabanan were executed by musketry on September 06, 1896 at Bagumbayan. - Thirteen Martyrs of Cavite were executed by musketry at the Fort San Filipe in Cavite. - Bicol Martyrs were executed in Bagumbayan on July 04, 1897. - Prominent businessmen were arrested and their properties were seized. - Apolonio Dela Cruz and nine others were executed by musketry in Bagumbayan on February 6, 1897. Execution of Dr Jose Rizal - Was formally charged on December 11, 1896 as the principal organizer and living soul of the Filipino insurrection, founder of societies, periodicals, dedicated to fomenting and propagating ideas of rebellion. - On December 28, 1896 Gov. Gen. Camilo Polavieja approved the decision of the court martial and ordered the execution of Jose Rizal at Bagumbayan in the morning of December 30, 1869 at exactly 7:00 AM - He died at exactly 7:03 AM
