Empowerment Congress West Area Neighborhood Development Council

Serving the neighborhoods of Arlington Heights, Baldwin Hills Estates, Baldwin Vista, Baldwin Village, Crenshaw Manor, Cameo Woods, Leimert Park , Village Green and Baldwin Hills Village Gardens.

The 15 member board is elected by individuals living, working, attending school or worshiping in the geographic boundaries of the neighborhood council. The board is as e ective as the members of the community are involved in providing input on how to improve the quality of life in their neighborhood.

The ECWANDC is one of 95 certi ed Neighborhood Councils established under the City of Los Angeles Charter to engage local stakeholders. The Neighborhood Council is responsible for communicating the needs and issues to the City Council, City departments and other governmental agencies. The Neighborhood Council meets twice a month, providing an opportunity for residents and others to get up to-date information on city policies, business business developments and changes in our community.
