Hannah Larson 10/10/12 The Musical Experience of a Choral Singer Survey Results The results of my survey were intriguing

and unexpected. I asked the question: How important is it for a choir to wear uniforms during a performance? The majority of choral singers answered essential (30.0%). Out of twenty choral singers, 75.00% agreed that it was essential for the conductor of the choir to have a positive attitude during rehearsal. This was the most amazing result that I discovered. It made me realize how important it is for me to have a positive attitude while student teaching. I had to take a step back and ask myself how the students would feel if I did NOT have a positive attitude during rehearsals. Most likely, I would receive negative energy from the singers in front of me. I wouldnt change any of the questions if I were to remake this survey. I would probably add more questions and go into depth on certain questions such as the importance of singing popular music in a choir.
