100S ARE BEING DISTRIBUTED AS A FUNDRAISER FOR JIMMY SCHILLER

It all started in October of this year (2012). A young mans life has been changed forever. Jimmy Schiller (age 23), husband, father and paramedic with AMR (American Medical Response), Rancho Cucamonga, CA was diagnosed with testicular cancer (Stage 3). The cancer has spread to other parts of his body and hes currently undergoing chemotherapy. On November 26th. 2012, his coworker and friend Kent Meeker helped coordinate the event Bald for Balls that was held at the Rancho Cucamonga AMR dispatch center. That Monday evening, the purpose of the event was to show support by having local hair stylist shave heads (both male and female), showing Jimmy that he isnt alone while undergoing chemotherapy and collecting donations in support of. Many of the attendees were from the local emergency response and reghting community. Given the number of attendees (approx. 150), the event turned into a Fundraiser for the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation. The event raised approx. $1,600. The Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation is dedicated in the ght against testicular cancer - leading cancer in young men starting at the early age of 15, yet its hardly talked about. Help create a greater awareness of this disease - leading cancer in men 15-35, but can strike at any age, infancy to elderly. Every hour, a male is diagnosed and every day a life is lost due to the lack of awareness and education. It is important to know the signs and symptoms of testicular cancer and practice monthly self-exams just as women do to detect breast cancer.
