Harvesting
Apple trees take 2 -4 years to bare fruit Must be planted with other apple trees ( are not self fertile) Require about 300 400 chill hours Need full sun and well drained soil Must be spaced about 20 feet Soil must be cultivated 18 inches

To Peel or not To Peel?

Do not peel the apples skin! It is where most of the fiber and antioxidants are found!

Apple Sandwich!
Ingredients Medium size apple (any kind you prefer) 2 Table spoons of low fat peanut butter 1/8 cup of salted pumpkin seeds

Directions-

Make sure to wash your apple! Cut the apple into 4 pieces avoiding the core. Take half of a tablespoon of peanut butter and spread it onto a piece of apple. 5. Repeat step number 3 with all of the apple pieces. 6. Distribute the pumpkin seeds among the apple pieces which now contain peanut butter. 7. Take two apple pieces and combine them to make an apple sandwich! P.S :You can add different types of nuts or even raisins to enhance the flavor~
