Course objectives
By the end of this course , the student will be able to : 1. Identify the basic medical and physical therapy background about each neurological and neurosurgical disorder. 2. Take a tactful, accurate and organized medical history. 3. Demonstrate clinically how to examine patient with neurological and neurosurgical disorder. 4. Analyze the patient's findings and determine his/her physical problems according to priorities. 5. Set up the long term and short term goal for individualized neurological patient 6. Plan a treatment strategy according to patient's problems.

7. Demonstrate clinically how to apply different physical therapy modalities on neurological and neurosurgical patients. 8. Determine the procedures for follow-up and determine the time of discharge. 9. Describe a detailed home physical therapy program discharge. 10. Record all patients' data in an organized manner that is to be easy to be understood by other team members. 11. Present different neurological cases in front of his/her colleagues as well as other team members. 12. Deal with both in-patients and out-patients with different neurological diseases. 13.
