This book is about two kids. Their names are 14 year old Amy and 11 year old Dan. Their parents died and they were left with their aunt Grace. Grace basically led the family. She had a hidden power, a huge power, that was the strongest in the world. Well, she soon died and, someone needed to take her place. When they were invited to go to a family conference in Graces mansion, they had a big choice to make.

The Adventure
They had two options, they could take a million dollars and walk away, or put their lives at risk with a quest to find 39 Clues scattered around the world to obtain the power. They decided to take the quest, for they knew their aunt would want them to. They received their clue in the mansion to start them off. They found the clue to be strangely connected to Ben Franklin.

The Real Fun

They run off! They find them being too young for the quest. They find a nanny named Nellie. Nellie is kind of immature but very smart and speaks many languages. They travel to Paris, France and enter the Catacombs. They find themselves lost. They find important artifacts, and an exit. Its a tight and dangerous hole, will they make it? They make it, but its a rusty ride back but they have found the clue! 38 to go..
