Montage of people`s opinions of dogs e.g. favourite dog Opening title- Dog licking up the title or animation Introduce documentary by the narrator as montage of dogs is shown. Interview with dog owners- 4 people, range of ages Montage of dogs being walked Interview with dog walker Interview with guide dog trainer/owner. Cutaways of her training dog. Then an inteview with a guide dog owner Hand held camera to show a POV shot walking to the pet shop, looking at the sign on the top then going in. Once in the POV shot shows the person walking around the shop looking around while the voice over describes the amount of money it costs to keep a dog and some of the stuff someone can buy. Interview with woman who works in the pet shop who also has a dog. The cutaways will be of either her dog or of the shop and the products it sells. For example as mentions certain things they sell the camera will cut to that product and zoom in. For example how many cases a year dogs help. Interview with a police officer who works with sniffer dogs POV from dog to represent/ show what the dog does. The audience can see the dog sniffing things and eventually finding something. As the narrator is explains the process the dog goes through. Interview with another police officer about Arson and Cadaver dogs Archive footage of newspaper cuttings( Zooms in on key parts and tracks across) as the narrator talks about other cases where the dogs have helped Interview with someone who has been an outsider involved in the case involving the police dogs. Montage of images of people with their dogs or of just the dogs as the voiceover concluding the narrative about what makes dogs so special to people.
