Daniel and the Lions

February 24 - March 2, 2013

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the PowerSource Information Center. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

I will not be afraid to obey God.

Do not be afraid for the Lord your God goes with you. Deuteronomy. 31:6

Daniel was a hard worker and did his best. King Darius made him one of his helpers. The other helpers did not like Daniel. They tricked the king into making a new law. It said anyone who did not pray to the king would be thrown to the lions. Daniel loved God and prayed to Him three times a day. The other helpers saw Daniel pray to God and told the King. He was thrown to the lions but God kept him safe! Daniel 6

Father God, You are so good. Thank you for my parents, teachers, friends and Apostles Ron and Hope. Keep them safe and fill them with your joy. Thank you for creating me so special. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell others about You. Thank you that because of Jesus, I am healed and whole. In Jesus Name, Amen

Psalm 105:1a I give thanks to You Lord and call on Your name. Psalms 27:1 The Lord is the light of my salvation; whom shall I fear?
