SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Senator lisa murkowski is offering a unique and rewarding glimpse into our nations government.
WHO: All Alaskan High School Seniors WHAT: 2013 Summer Internship Program Where: Washington, D.C. When: Two Sessions, lasting four weeks each June 3 to june 28, 2013 or July 8 to august 2, 2013 WHY: To learn about the workings of the U.S. Senate and the federal legislation that affects Alaska.

HOW to APPLY
Apply online at www.murkowski.senate.gov or fill out a paper application and mail or fax it to Senator Murkowskis Washington, D.C. office. Electronic or faxed applications are preferred. Senator Lisa Murkowski Attn: Intern Coordinator (202)224-5301 fax 709 Hart Senate Office Building Washington, D.C. 20510-0203 A total of 20 students from Alaska will be selected to participate in two, month-long sessions. Housing and transportation will be arranged by the Senators office, but interns will be responsible for the cost. The Senator's office will provide a stipend to help defray these costs.

Applications must be received by no later than march 14, 2013
