Transition Fair:

Getting Ready for Life After High School*

It requires preparation to help students with special needs prepare for life after high school. Join us to learn about available supports and programs.

Co-Sponsored by: Medford Public Schools and Arlington Public Schools Special Education Departments

Who should attend? Parents/guardians and students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), particularly students ages 14 - 21 years. Visit with representatives to gather information about: Adult Agencies and Programs Job Preparation/Vocational Career Training Post Secondary Education (other than traditional college programs) Legal Issues including Guardianship Community/Independent Living

Some of the agencies represented include: Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC), MA Department of Developmental Services (DDS), MA Department of Mental Health (DMH), EMARC, Northeast ARC, The Transition Program at Middlesex Community College, Easter Seals, Epic Service Warriors, and more!!

Arlington and Medford staff from the Special Education Departments will be available at the Transition Fair.
