To start up the IPTV Combine: 1. Connect the device to the local network. If necessary, set up the network interface. 2. Log in to the web interface. The older version of web interface requires login and password, the default values being admin:netup123. The newer version requires only a password; with Server administrator option selected, the default password is netup123 (which is also used for FTP and SSH access to the server), and with Cluster administrator option it is root. 2.1. Download the latest version of server firmware from the personal cabinet on netup.tv, then upload it to the server via FTP (login: update; password is similar to the server administrator password) and install it using the Update page of the web interface. 2.2. On the Documentation page, download the Administrator's Guide, which covers the system in a whole and these steps in particular in a great many details. 2.3. Download the license key from the personal cabinet on netup.tv and upload it to the IPTV Combine on the License page of the web interface (see Web interface: License on page 98 in the Administrator's Guide). 2.4. Download the united control center on the Control center page of the web interface. 2.5. Install the united control center (see Usage examples: Installing the UCC on page 61). 3. Burn the NetUP firmware to the STB(s). Alternatively, if you going to use the IPTV PC client, install it. In either case, an activation code will be requested upon the first launch. 4. Using the Billing system of the UCC, create a user (see Usage examples: Creating a user on page 71). 4.1. Create a personal account for the user (see Creating a personal account on page 74) and select an appropriate currency for it. 4.2. Open the Access Card Information group of parameters and copy the activation code which has to be used to activate an STB or a PC client instance. 5. Using the Middleware system of the UCC, set up the media content, including TV channels and/or VoD (see Usage examples: Creating TV or TVoD content on page 64 and Creating VoD or nVoD content on page 68). 6. Using the Billing system of the UCC, create a tariff plan and include into it whichever services you find suitable (see Usage examples: Creating a tariff plan on page 74). 7. Using the Billing system of the UCC, attach the tariff plan to the user (see Usage examples: Attaching a tariff plan on page 79). Now your IPTV Combine is deployed and ready to use.
