Network Printer Installation Windows Computers Revised March 2011

1. Open Internet Explorer. (Note: must use IE. The web-based installation process does not work on other browsers). 2. Configure IE to trust our print server. a. Click Tools then Internet Options b. Click the Security tab c. Click Trusted Sites d. Click the Sites button e. Make sure that Require server verification box is not checked. f. Type *.ufl.edu into the text box, click Add then click Close g. Move the security level slider down to Low h. Click OK 3. Open the website wcba-ps1.ad.ufl.edu/printers

4. Login with your Gatorlink username and password. Enter your username using this format: UFAD\username Click Remember my credentials for most reliable, convenient service. 5. You will see a list of WCBA printers you can access. Click on The Printer you need

6. Click

Connect

at the left side of the screen.

7. When asked if you want to add a printer connection, click Yes 8. The driver will be downloaded and installed. This should take no more than 2-3 minutes.

Voila! You should now see printers.
