The program goal is to help individuals with significant disabilities obtain supported employment. The key measure tracks the percentage of individuals with significant disabilities who have a supported employment goal and achieve an employment outcome. From 1999 to 2006, the target was met or exceeded each year, ranging from 73.3% to 93.9% achieving an employment outcome. Data for 2007 and beyond is pending.

Accuracy and consistency of reporting is contingent upon counselors' interpretations of definitions. Explanation. This measure examines state agency performance regarding supported employment for individuals with the most significant disabilities. Individuals in supported employment can achieve competitive employment (with wages at or above the minimum wage), although not all individuals in supported employment do achieve these competitive wages.
