Instructions:
With color A, cast on 2 sts; K into the front and back of each st = 4 sts. Turn. Knit. Join color B. Designers notes: 1. When first joining a new color, knit one stitch with old and one with new yarn. This wont show, and will lock in the new yarn. 2. Never change yarns in the middle of a row; plan ahead and always change at the end. Its better to waste a little yarn than to risk a lumpy/bumpy change in middle of your work 3. In this pattern, twist the working and non-working yarns together as you change colors. The yarn not in use is simply carried up to the next row where the color change will be made Increase Pattern: Row 1: (place marker to indicate as the front and inc row) Inc 1 by K into front & back of 1st st; K to last 2 sts; Inc 1 by K into front and back of nextto-last st; K1, Turn. Row 2: K all sts. Rep these two rows, alternating colors every 2 rows, until you have 34 sts. Now work main pattern.
