Have a two months internship experience at UFONE GSM in BSS
department,Faisalabad.
Practiced tasks during the internship:
• Hardware architecture and configuration of Siemens TRAU and Huawei
BTS, power racks, BSC and TCSM.
• Antenna configuration and solving VSWR problems.
• Functionality of Nortel Passport, PDMux and PCU.
• Visit of sites for operation and maintenance.
From 28th April 2008 to 24th October 2008 (6 months) worked as an internee at
MOBILINK GSM in Transmission Planning (Access) department, Faisalabad.
Practiced tasks during the internship:
• Hands on working on TXN Planning CONNECT tool.
 Plotting of new sites.
 Creating link report.
 Interference analysis.
 Updating of Connect tool.
• Link budget planning
