    ANALYSIS : 1.

    When the water is cooled rapidly to its freezing point, The


    changes to become ice .

    2. The table salt added to the ice to lower the freezing point of ice in
    the beaker to below 0 C. 3. The temperature at which water changes to become ice is called freezing point. 4. The freezing point and melting point of water are same. 5. The melting point of water is 0 C. 6. When water boils, water changes to become steam. 7. The temperature at which water changes to become steam is called boilng point. 8. When water is freezing or when it is boiling, temperature doesnt change. 9. Operational definition : a) Freezing point is the temperature at which water freezes. b) Boiling point is temperature at which water boils. Conclusion : Hypothesis are accepted. The freezing point of water is 0 C while the boiling point is 100 C .
