Extinction Expression

Your mission: You will be creating a song (rock, country, pop, rap), poem, dramatic monologue about an animal that you want to make go extinct from the planet. How you carry out your mission: o Decide what animal you want to go extinct. ______________________________ o Why do you dislike this animal? ______________________________ o Why would the world be better off without them? ______________________________ o How would you get rid of them? (magic, squishing them, etc) ______________________________ o What else could the predators of this animal eat instead? ______________________________ Create! o Now you take all of this information and create a song, poem, or drama about this animal and its downfall or extinction. o Be sure to include all of the information and make it fun without being rude, crude, or disrespectful.

Performance time!
o We will be performing these during class so make sure you have all costumes, props, etc. there.
