Sonata for Piano Four Hands K.

497 Mozart composed this sonata in 1786 for performance with his students in Vienna . The slow introduction to the first movement is particularly striking, reminiscent in many ways of the expansive structure of a symphony . The many polyphonic passages take on a completely new orchestral dimension through Pleyels arrangement . This arrangement of the sonata for piano four hands K . 497 is available through Edition Kossack (number 20091) . www .editionkossack .de I would like to dedicate this recording to my teacher and mentor Conrad Klemm .
