History
Olmeto was owned from new by Sunsail who chartered her for 16 years in Corsica and Thailand. This meant they were forced to maintain her well over such a long period, replacing some major systems, unlike typical excharter boats that have a hard first few years of life. However, they did not keep formal records and receipts! We bought her in 2004 and sailed her from Phuket to Singapore dodging the Tsunami (she is a lucky boat for all you seasoned mariners). We have cruised her locally including trips to Tioman and up the Straits of Malacca. She is an ideal family boat for local waters particularly for a first-time owner. Having left Singapore full-time in 2011, we now use her as a holiday home and have lived aboard for a few months at a time. We will be sad to sell her but are looking forward to new sailing adventures in Europe. Last hauled Apr 2011 with Survey.
