Memory: Things We Should Never Forget will showcase photographs of the current state of the earthquake and tsunami zones from the Nikkei collection. Voice from Japan will display photographs from people on the ground in Japan and their recovery efforts. Chicago Connections will highlight the connection of Chicagoans to the earthquake and tsunami via portraits and personal accounts. In addition, an economic seminar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago has been confirmed on March 13 to discuss the economic impact of the disaster and the challenges and opportunities during the most recent recovery efforts in Japan.
