    Nev took part in the first round of the British Masters Series at Preston Docks on March 10th. He qualified 2nd fastest. In race 1, Nev started near the back but finished 5th after moving up positions over the race. In race 2, Nev got the holeshot and led the entire race to take the win. Overall, Nev is currently 2nd in the British Masters MX2 championship standings with 91 points. The next round will be on April 28th at Foxhill, Swindon.

    Round 1 British Masters, Preston Docks, 10 March 2013

    The Putoline Honda Racing Team headed up to Preston for the 1st round of the British Masters Series. The weather was dry but very cold. Qualifying Sunday morning started with qualifying where Nev was 2nd fastest. Race 1 The start gate dropped & Nevs back wheel spun up, putting him close to the back. By the end of lap 1 he had made his way up to 11th. Through the 20 minute & 1 lap race, Nev made up positions to finish the race in 5th place. Race 2 Nev got a great start, getting the holeshot. He led the race from start to finish, taking the win. Overall Nev is 2nd overall in the British Masters MX2 championship standings with 91 points. The next round is 28th April at Foxhill, Swindon.
