Your pathway into Monash University
Monash College programs are Monash Universitys preferred pathway to its undergraduate courses, providing guaranteed entry, subject to meeting the entry requirements for particular courses.
Monash University Foundation Year
The Monash University Foundation Year is a one-year program designed to prepare international students for study at Monash University or another Australian university. You will have the opportunity to develop your English, academic, and learning skills in a supportive environment. Students are encouraged to choose the fields of study that suit their tertiary and career ambitions. Foundation Year graduates are guaranteed a place in their preferred destination degree at Monash University after meeting set entry requirements. Students may enter all 10 faculties of Monash University on average, more than 80 per cent of graduates qualify for places in the University.

Monash College Diplomas


By choosing to study a Monash College diploma, you are preparing yourself for entry into the first or second year of a Monash University degree. Each diploma is offered in two parts. Your highest qualification will decide your entry point:
n Part 1 Australian Year 11 or its equivalent, or n art 2 Australian Year 12 or its equivalent (with P

the appropriate prerequisite subjects). You have the following specialised diplomas to choose from:

English Language Bridging Programs


Our English Language Bridging Programs are available to students who have received a conditional offer. Upon successful completion, students are guaranteed entry into their chosen Monash College or Monash University course. Classes will prepare you for successful future study by improving your skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, note taking and research.

Scholarships
If you are a new international student applying to Monash University, we will automatically assess your eligibility for a Monash scholarship for International Excellence. You do not need to complete a separate scholarship application.
