Greg Dachtler 12/17/12 1 Stickel Solomon Solomon was the son of king David. Solomon built the first holy temple in Jerusalem. Solomon treated his people poorly when he built the holy temple. The people left the city because he taxed them too much. Solomon decision was once 2 mothers came to Solomon for help to decide which son was theirs so Solomon asked to split the baby in half to see which mother would plead for the baby to live, when he was about to split the baby in half, one of the mothers cried out for their baby.
