_____________________________________________________________ Candidate I understand that I have been selected by my peers to represent them on the Student Council of Ware County High School. In recognition of this great trust, it is imperative that I be a good leader and willing to participate in all areas of Student Council activities. I will strive to have an attitude and behave in a manner that will serve as a good example for the rest of the student body. I am capable of initiating and carrying out responsibilities without having to be prompted or reminded. I will put forth extra effort and time in order to serve and lead others. I am willing to see projects and responsibilities through, without excuses, until completed, even if this involves lunch, before or after school, or weekends. I understand the importance of communication and team work. My responsibilities and involvement in Student Council are vital; therefore, I must discuss conflicts with my advisor and be excused beforehand. I will fulfill all the duties and responsibilities set forth for my particular office or position in the Student Council Constitution. Failure to fulfill these requirements as well as the duties and responsibilities of my particular office or position will result in my removal from Student Council and my ineligibility for any Student Council or class recognition. If I am removed from Student Council, I understand that I am ineligible to serve on the council for the next academic year. I am aware of, approve, and will support my sons/daughters seeking of an office or position on the Student Council of Ware County High School. If my child is elected/appointed to the office or position, I understand that this will mean responsibilities that go beyond the school day and there are consequences for nonparticipation without prior approval.
