English & Communication Skills NOTE: Its your job as a student to keep track of all the course work completed up till now.

1. Vocabulary & Idioms: (Choice between the words/phrases we have done till now, you would have to make sentences. 2. General Questions: related to English or sentence structure 3. Letter: One question from anyone of letter types. 4. Essays: Two Essays have to be attempted by you, each from six different topics. As Discussed in class. 5. IELTS: 1 task of Academic reading, similar (not same) to what we did in class. 6. Prcis: One question. 7. Oral Reporting: Question on its effectiveness. 8. Presentation: Question on its main effective points. 9. Interviews: Techniques 10. Notice: Designing a notice 11. Memo: Question on writing a Memo. 12. Grammar-Parts of Speech: Underlining the desired speech 13.Minutes: Format question 14.Preparing proposals and research: Reading -Technical Proposals 15.Seminar: Purpose and Organization Question/ Seminar case study of Paris would come in the finals-not now. Each and Every topic above has been covered in class and also assessed or discussed through tests/class discussions/assignments. Material for all above topics was emailed to you after every class and also provided for Photocopy. It is suggested to follow specific format of letter/memo/notice/minutes/proposals/essays as discussed in class. For any
