Built on Aristotle's remark that 'all drama is conflict', Levi-Strauss believed that all stories are propelled forward

by conflict that is caused by characters and events opposing each other. I watched the film Manic, about teenagers in the juvenile wing of a mental ward and wrote down any opposites that occurred throughout the film: Lyle( Protagonist) Vs. Parents Lyle Vs. Doctors Lyle Vs. Michael Kids Vs. Parents Kids Vs. The institution Kids and Doctor David (before representing the Institution) Vs. Kenney's father Kids and Doctor David Vs. The recovery process I could see a pattern through the conflicts that yes a huge part of the drama of the film was conflict but also the opposites support Levi-Strauss' theory of a disruption being overcome.
