NIT Rourkela is now has tie up with the Axis Bank for online fee payment. For this, under RBI guideline, institutional refund policy has to be in place in the website; otherwise payment gateway link will not work. Following Institutional Refund Policy for online payment of student fees, online application fee and fees for Transcripts and certificates is proposed: i) The fee once paid is non- refundable. ii) There will be no refund of fee once the NIT, Rourkela is in receipt of the amount. However, in case of any excess fee deposited over and above the requisite amount, the applicant needs to contact in the e-mail-id : ar-acad@nitrkl.ac.in with the details of the transactions. iii) After verification of the transaction the decision will be taken by the NITR authority as to refund of the fee deposited. In the event of approval regarding refund of the fee by the NITR authority, same would be refunded back within 30 days from the date of receipt of the application for refund along with the transaction details through online mode only to the same savings/credit/debit card account from which payment has been made. Under no circumstance the refund will be done through any other mode unless the authority decides otherwise. iv) No claim of refund will be accepted after 15 days from the date of online fees payment . v) The above information is indicative and NIT, Rourkela reserves the right to make any changes, if necessary and the same will be informed separately.
