InitialsBOTHparents ________1.PaymentThefeeforlessonsisnotprorated,asyouarepayingforaweeklytimeslotwhetherornotyourchildcomestolessons.Lessonpaymentsaredueon MONDAYofthecurrentweek.YoumaypaybycreditcardviaPayPal,check,cash(preferred)ormoneyorder. ________2.Time ScheduleYoushouldarriveatthepool5minutesbeforeyourtimeslotandhaveyourchildreadyforlessonsathis/herscheduledtime.Thescheduleis veryfullandourabilitytostayontimeiscontingentonourclientsbeingontime.Ifyouarelate,wewilldoourbesttofityouinbutitcannotbeguaranteed.Whenyourchildhas completedhis/herlesson,pleasetakethenecessarystepstodryoff,allowforrecovery,redressandsafelyexitthepoolareasothatthenextstudentsmayarriveandgetsetup fortheirscheduledlesson. ________3.Attendance PolicyConsistencyiscrucialtonotonlythelearningprocess,butalsotheretentionofthoselearnedskills.Bringingyourchildeverydaywill increasetherateofprogressandretentionofskills.Lessonsarenotproratedandyouarerequiredtopayforallscheduledlessons.Yourinitialsindicatethatyouhave read/understandthispolicy. _________4.Daily BUDSBUDSstandsforbowel,urine,dietandsleep.Thisdailyinformationisrequiredandmustbepresentedtotheinstructorbeforeeachlesson.This informationisessentialasinstructorusestheinformationprovidedbyyoutoinsurethateachlessoniscustomtailoredtoyourchildsspecificneedsforthatdayinadditionto ensuringthesafestpossiblelessonforyourchild.Allchildren30monthsandyoungermusthaveaFullBUDScompleteddaily.All students mustcompletetheshortversion poolsideBUDSonadailybasisandpriortoeachlesson. Please make sure you discuss any unusual issues and/or concerns with me PRIOR to the lesson. _________5.Parent Resource Book (PRB)YouwillbemailedaPRBuponcompletionofthenationalregistration.Itisanimportantrequirementthatyoureadthe PRBcompletely.Understandingtheprogramisvitaltoyourchildsperformance.Ifyouhaveanyquestions,Iwillbehappytosupplyyouwithadditionalinformationor clarification. ________6.AttireSOSrequiresthateachchild,3yearsandyoungeroranyonenottoilettrainedbedressedintwolayersofwashableswimdiapers.Thisdouble protectionwillhelptoensureasafepoolenvironmentforeveryone.Thedisposableswimmersdonotholdanythinginand,therefore,arenotacceptableattire.Youcan typicallyfindtheseatWalmart.Wemayalsohavesomesofeelfreetoask.Ifyourchildisnotwearingdoublelayersofswimdiapersandhasabowelmovementthat compromisesthepoolfacility,youwillberesponsibleforthefeesforthelessonscancelledforthefollowing24hours.Thehealthandsafetyofallourstudentsisoftheutmost importance.Wewillnotcompromisesafety. ________7.TowelsSOSrequires3towelsperchildeveryday,2towelstoplaceonthedeckuponwhichyourchildwillbeplacedafterthelessonand1todrythechild with.Thispolicyisinplacetopreventthetransmissionofgermsonthepooldeck.Attheconclusionofthelesson,yourchildwillbeplacedonhis/herleftsidetoallowforair releaseandproperrest.Pleasedonotleaveyourchildunassisted,astheremaybesomeminortemperaturefatigueaswellasaneedtobrieflyrestfollowingthelesson. Safetybefore,duringandafteryourchildslessonsisapriorityandyourongoingcomplianceisappreciated. ________8.Diet.Pleasedonotgiveyourchildanyfoodordrinkatleast2 hours prior to lessons.Nodairy/milkproductsforatleast3hourspriortolessons.Noone workswellonafullstomachandyourchildwillbeworkinghard. No APPLES OR APPLE PRODUCTS, pineapples, papayas, passion fruit, peaches, spinach, honey, or celery in any form for the entire duration of lessons.Thefoodslistedincancausethebuildupofgasesintheabdomenleadingtodistentionanddiscomforttoyourchild.
