Meaning of PC Process capability is the ability of a production process to meet the design specifications for product or service or to produce products within the desired expectations of customers .

Two statistical techniques that are commonly used to evaluate process capability are: Frequency distribution and histogram and Control chart.

Process capability index.

Pc is in assessing the relationship between the natural variation of process and the design specifications. This relationship is quantified by a measure know as the process capability index(cp). Cp = allowable range process spread usl - lsl 6~
