Category: Presentations and collaboration Description: Prezi allows you to portray the connectivity and extensiveness of a subject without mislaying access to the fine details. How I will apply this tool in an instructional unit: Prezi is a visual metaphor for your ideas. With this tool, there will never be a boring presentation again. Prezi will result in lectures that are more memorable; therefore, resulting in more engaged students. Prezi can be used for group projects, and multiple users can edit the Prezi at the same time. Students can use Prezi to collaborate ideas with other group members. Prezi is a cloud-based tool, so students never have to worry about saving their work. The textboxes exhibit how one can zoom in and zoom out to talk about the big picture or small idea. The whizzing canvas empowers teachers to show the big idea and then whiz into details. The user can include videos into a textbox. Another great benefit about Prezi is that one can download PowerPoint into a Prezi. Students and teachers can apply Prezi in their classroom, rather than being stuck in a motionless slide. Not only is Prezi used for presentations, but also students can use Prezi as a portfolio or impress employers by creating a Prezum.
