1) He is the caretaker of Arthur Boo Radley, who is his brother. He is very protective of him. 2) Nathan is also the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Radley.

Similarities: 1) Both Alexandra and Nathan are white. 2) Both characters in the book prevent another character from interactions with another person. For example: Nathan Radley fills in the hole in the tree his brother was using to connect with Jem and Scout. Aunt Alexandra also does not allow Scout to play with Walter Cunningham. 3) Radley and Finch are both dominant figures in their household. 4) Both characters are racist.

Differences: 1) Alexandra is a female, while Nathan is a white male. 2) Finch also has children. Radley does not have a wife or children. He does though, act as a parental figure for Boo Radley. 3) Alexandra Finch has a bigger family. She is also more social and opinionated. 4) Nathan Radley has a small family, which only consists of his brother. He secludes himself in his home, unless he has run errands. He chooses to keep to himself, thus keeping his thoughts to himself.

Nathan does not have many friendships or relationships because he is a very reclusive and anti-social man. He avoids interacting with the people of Maycomb.
