Outdoor PE is on a Tuesday and indoor PE is now on a Thursday (5DE) and Friday (5K).

Please make sure names are on any kit and clothes as we are building a rather large selection of unclaimed items. Please remember that ear rings must be removed for all PE lessons.

This term we are learning all about health and development, how our body changes and the effects of peer pressure. As part of literacy we will be focussing on emotions, understanding our own emotions and how to deal with them as we grow up and being able to empathise with others. In PE, we are looking at team building activities using Orienteering and the dance will be based on historical dances through the ages, culminating in a street dance/Michael Jackson/Diversity Performance.

Prepare and research the Iconic Person for the theme day so that you are able to discuss your Iconic person in detail.

Health, Growth and Relationships

Literacy and Maths are set on a 2 week basis. Information will be given in your homework books.

Please continue to read as often as you can with your child. We recommend reading for about 10-15 minutes, 3 times a week. Focus on ambitious vocabulary and inference.

Mr Disley, Miss K and Mr English have been delighted by the way the children have come back this term. The children are responding beautifully to the challenges and high expectations for behaviour and independence. If you have any issues or concerns regarding your child then please come and speak to us. Often a quick chat can help sort out any problems before they get to big.
