Preventive and promotive actions to prevent complications during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum I. Preventive A. Pregnancy 1.

Consuming enough vitamins and nutrition in pregnant - Iron which can be obtained through vegetables and red meat, other nutrients needed to reduce the risk of bleeding during pregnancy and childbirth. And Other vitamins like calcium, folic acid, vitamin B-complex and vitamin A. - Fruits and vegetables are highly recommended because it contains Vitamin C, A and E, which are some very good examples of antioxidants to prevent preeclampsia or high blood pressure during pregnancy - To maintain and enhance the immune system, pregnant women should increase their intake of foods that contain lots of vitamin A, zinc, iron, copper and vitamin B-complex to avoid infection. 2. Reduce or prevent the predisposing factorof infection such as anemia, malnutrition and weaknesses and cure diseases suffered by the mother B. Childbirth period 1. Avoid repeated examination, do when there is a good indication to sterilization, especially if the membranes have ruptured 2. Avoid parturition that has long time and long rupture of amniotic time 3. Maintain sterility of the delivery room and wear a mask, the tools should be disinfected. 4. Injury in the act of vaginal birth as well as by abdominal cleaned, sewn properly and maintained sterility 5.
