Think back to the beginning of the school year. Just think of all of the growth you have seen in your students since those first few weeks! Sometimes the changes are dramatic. Sometimes they happen so gradually that we cant see the day to day changes but they become apparent when we look at where we started. Sometimes its hard to tell how specific teaching strategies are influencing student achievement. In an ICT case the case manager works with the classroom teacher to set up strategies that are specific to their students. Each ICT case is designed to help teachers see the results of their efforts in a very concrete way. Individual students, small groups and even whole class progress is charted on the SDF (student data folder). The case then becomes a valuable form of documentation that the teacher can use to show how various strategies were used to enhance student growth!

Start Charting That Progress!

If you would like assistance from the IC Team you can make a referral in two easy ways: Paper form: simply fill out the short referral form you find in the ICT mailbox in the office. Return it to the ICT box or Debs mailbox. On line referrals: You can access the on line referral by going to the CSA Fodrea web page. Click on Academics, then click on Instructional Consultation Team. This will go directly to Debs e-mail. Whats next? Within 7 days a member of your IC Team will contact you to set up an initial consultation meeting. This will be the first step in the collaborative problem solving process. We are ready to help in any way we can!
