Playing video games, watching TV or texting on cell phones for hours on end can result in this terrible disorder. The symptoms are vacant stares, grunting, and loss of brain function. If left untreated, it can potentially lead to the desire to consume other peoples brains. Now dont get me wrong Ms. Readmore, technology is amazing. It makes our lives more convenient. It enables students to be more productive, and it empowers teachers to teach beyond the restrictions of textbooks and classrooms. We all need to know how to use and enjoy technology, but its important to take regular breaks and unplug if you will. Im going to write a prescription. Be sure to follow the directions carefully, and your kids should be back to normal in no time! Doctor scribbles long and exaggeratedly on a pad, tears off page, and hands to Mom.
