    Course dates: Fri/Sat 27th & 28th September 2013 Course fee: 350* (*early bird offer before 31st July 2013; 400 after this date )
    Who is the course aimed at?
    Plastic Surgery Trainees (ST1-4) with an interest in Burns Surgery. This course is designed to continue on from the EMSB course from referral to late reconstruction.

    Faculty
    The course is delivered by Burns and Plastic Surgery Consultants and Senior Registrars.

    High faculty to delegate ratio.

    What does the course include?


    The course is delivered using a combination of simulator based practical sessions, moulage and short lectures: Burn resuscitation (inc. paediatric) Surgical airway management Escharotomy/Fasciotomy Burn excision Skin grafting/flaps Burn dressings / Skin substitutes Contracture releases / Tissue expansion Scar management Management of specialised areas

    The evening dinner (included in the course fee) is an essential part of the course with all being encouraged to attend.
