Hazards The use of the knife- Sam stands behind the camera to check the shot, whilst John

brings the knife down in a sharp stabbing motion. Dropping the knife- We decided to get a shot of the knife dropping on the floor

Control Measures We made sure that John had practiced and had a good grip on the knife, whilst Sam stayed as far away from the camera as he could. Sam was filming so we needed him to be sitting down but out of the way of the knife drop. So we used the zoom on the camera. Rosie had to wear shoes to ensure that when she dropped the knife it wouldnt bounce off the floor and cut her foot. We decided to take out an umbrella in case of the rain, to keep the camera as dry as possible, and if the rain was too heavy, we decided we would shoot on another day.
