White Lies, by Yuh Egami and Ricky Hu, was a tour de force. Complex, ambitious and stylish, it has a cast of 14, a richly eclectic score with the emphasis on blues and effective designs with all the dancers (including the women) wearing Men in Black suits and fedoras. Our Lower School students from Grades 3-6 will attend the performance on May 8th , and have a chance to meet the ensemble with a Q&A following the performance. Later, our upper school theatre and dance students will attend a workshop in the theatre, focusing on choreography, design and production with the dancers, choreographer and director of White Lies. Through the generous support of the Daniel Lai Foundation Grant at CDNIS, the Hong Kong Ballet at Leo Lee Arts Centre will be one of the premiere events during the Lower School Festival of the Arts Week, May 6-10, 2013.
