I edited the sea so it was more blue and stood out more amongst the peddles.

I also darkened the pebbles to match the front CD pane. There was a man standing by the sea and I used one of the tools to remove him so the dog is the only person in the shot.

This is the original image. We chose this image because it showed the pier which enticed the audience because when you think of Brighton you think of happy memories and excitement. Also we preferred the layout of this image rather than some of the other pictures we took because it was easy to add the song titles and not get in front of the dog (the primary character)

The typography of the album names did not stand out enough with the busy background so we put a box background much like the puff on the CD front pane, this will add to the continuity throughout.

The same dilemma occurred when trying to add the industry information. You could not see it so again I added a white box so the typography can stand out.

I then decided to change the typography to italics rather than regular because it made the layout appear more professional and unique. It fitted well with the quirky pop vibe we are aiming for.

Finally I added the barcode.
