50 Day 5k 50 50/50

Challenge!
Too much? Why not do a 40 day 4km, or a 30 day 3km challenge instead?

Links Park Community Trust rely on income from sponsorship, donations and fundraising events to assist us in the development and delivery of our extensive range of unique sports, health and educational programmes. We also, within our Health strand, wish to inspire members of our community to increase their physical activity levels. Thus, to meet both aims, we have developed the above challengeare you up for it? o For 50 days (minimum of 5 days per week) you should attempt to walk, run or cycle 5km (3.1 miles) use www.gb.mapometer.com to plot routes o Before, during and shortly after the 50 day period, attempt also to raise a minimum of 50 from friends, family and work colleagues o LPCT will put 50% of the money you raise towards our sport, health and educational programmes visit www.linksparkct.org.uk for more info o You choose a worthy cause which is close to your heart as the recipient of the remaining 50% raised o All monies will be handed into LPCT, who will make the most of the Gift Aid scheme with cheques (and a detailed list of our participants and the amount they raised) prepared thereafter for the selected recipient causes o A celebration event will take place shortly after the 50 day period, whereby the total amount raised will be announced and cheques presented The 1st ever LPCT 50 Day 5k Challenge will launch with an optional group run/walk around the pitch at Links Park on Saturday 1st June, time TBC: 16 laps should do it!
