A highly technical apprenticeship position assisting staff and students with software and hardware faults face-to-face, via telephone or email. Time spent embedded with other teams within ICT Services including server support, desktop support and network / infrastructure support. Other duties: Picking up and logging faults on online helpdesk. Updating SharePoint with known issues and fixes. Assisting with and updating documentation for new technologies and projects. Projects worked on include Cat5 installation for new building and installation of fibre between two external buildings.
