A Fathers Heart

A Retreat for Fathers

Saturday, June 15, 2013
(the day before Fathers Day) Newcomb Friendship Center at St. Cecilias Church
2732 Culver Road, Rochester, NY

Mass 9:30am | Coffee 10am | Program 10:30-12:00pm

The retreat will focus on the reflections of Pope Francis on the role of Joseph as the protector of Mary, Jesus and the Church. Here is a portion of the Popes comments: God does not want a house built by men, but faithfulness to his word, to his plan. It is God himself who builds the house, but from living stones sealed by his Spirit. Joseph is a protector because he is able to hear Gods voice and be guided by his will; and for this reason he is all the more sensitive to the persons entrusted to his safekeeping.
