MEMORANDUM ORDER No.

___________ Series of 2010 SUBJECT: DEFINING THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF FPA BIOTECH CORE TEAM

Pursuant to Memorandum Order No. _____Series of 2010 creating the composition of the FPA Biotechnology Core Team and in order to achieve systematic and clear execution of the programmed activities of Administrative Order No.8, the following duties and responsibilities of the team are hereby defined and stated. Chairman 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Supervise the team in the implementation of the provisions specified in DA AO No.8 Preside over the FPA Biotech Core Team meeting; Issue and or initial memoranda and letters pertaining to biotechnology; Provide relevant technical and policy guidelines for recommendation to the Executive Director of FPA; and Perform other functions as assigned by the Executive Director.

Provide support technical and administrative support in the processing of application forms, conduct of evaluation of application's completeness and sufficiency, conduct of environmental risk assessment and establishment of registry of regulated products; Prepare for Chair approval office protocols in the implementation of DA A.O. No.8; Prepare accomplishment reports and other documentations; and Perform other relevant function as assigned by the Chairman of FPA Biotech Core Team

Provide administrative support in the documentation of reports, proposals, guidelines and other activities relevant to DA AO No.8 Formulate and maintain a library system in the implementation of DA AO No.8 Follow-up and coordinate network activities of the core team; and Perform other relevant functions as assigned by the Chairman of DA AO No. 8

Expenses incurred in the performance of their duties and functions shall be charged against the fees collected from the implementation of Administrative Order No. 8; Series of 2002 and/or funds intended for biotechnology projects subject to accounting rules and regulations. This Order shall take effect immediately upon signing and supersedes all other Orders inconsistent herewith.
